Territory
The Trentino region is located on the south slopes of the northern oriental part of the Italians Alps chain. The province’s northern outskirt is connected to the one of Bolzano; the west one with the Lombardia region and the south east with the one of Veneto. The county town, Trento, is situated at around 90 km from Verona, 180 km of Venice, 200 km from Milan, 250 km from Bologna and 600 km from Rome. Regarding European cities, 350 km from Munich, 180 km from Innsbruck. The territory is mostly mountainous and rich of natural resources and parks. specifically bound with a concrete offer of public services and private well being, the region itself has always been cited as one of the most livable and loveable place in Italy. “Trentino” is in fact well in the Dolomite’s heart, mountains that have been around for more than 10 million years; which gives this part of Italy a landscape and beauty unique in the world. On one side the Brenta chains, the massifs of Latemar, of Catinaccio and of the Marmolada. Let alone the Ortles-Cevedale chains, the Presanella and the Lagorai. The Trentino territory hosts as well a large number of lakes (297), some of them have become great tourist and celebrity hang outs. Overall, the lake of Garda, Caldonazzo and Levico, the lake of Molveno. Such condition have favored a great economical surge in tourism, whether it is in winter or summer. The cultural, artistic and natural heritage represents one of the components that allowed the growth of a high quality of life and well being connected to the environment: whether it is the strong will to maintain a popular tradition or the feeling to belong to the territory, it is there only to consolidate an autonomic vocation. The precinct has contributed to create a positive image of Trentino. To live and work with that system means that you will find again this relationship with nature which could contribute to improve social behavior in the future.
